Joni, sorry I missed it this year but it was nice to see pictures and read updates
of the classmates that I visited with at our 30th. Wish there were more. I've
lived in California for 30 years now. My husband Jeff and I are enjoying our
retirement and being empty nesters. We travel all over the U.S. and Europe
playing golf. Here is a picture (click here)
taken in June in Italy of Jeff and I, Erik (25)
and Holly (22). Holly graduated from Clemson University in May and is a
cardiac nurse at our local hospital in Newport Beach, California. Erik is a
stockbroker here. They both live nearby. Neither has married yet so no
grandchildren, just one granddog and two grandcats. My hobbies are
cooking and sports. Thank you so much for the effort that keeps us all
connected to our roots. xxoo, Elaine

Hello 73 Jaguars! I am so sorry I was unable to attend our reunion this summer as I was called
out of town. I am currently still living in the area working for Fairfax County Public Schools. I
have been an educator, coach and principal with the school system for 31 years. I have been
fortunate to teach and coach some of our classmates’ children over the years. What a joy to
see our old friends as moms and dads! I have also been honored to have given graduating
diplomas to several classmates’ children as their principal of Mountain View High School.
During my tenure as coach, I was privileged enough to win two state titles and named All Met
Coach of the Year in track. I have been married for 22 years to my wife Cheryl and have two
sons Jimmy and Tommy who love to go boating and fishing at our lake house. I wish all
the class of 1973 the very best.

I lived in the Atlanta area for almost 30 years where I raised my only child, Pierce,
pictured with me (see picture) here in 2005). He is the light
of my life and is a senior now at Georgia Southern University. I am confident he will be
independent in the not too distant future and eventually give me a daughter-in-law and grandkids!
I have secured income by various means over the years; insurance, banking, postal worker,
childcare, and manufacturing. I had always dreamed of being a small business owner and in
2004 on my 50th birthday launched a small but productive plastic fabrication company in
Georgia. My husband, Ed and I were owner/operators until we moved to Fayetteville
NC in February to be near his aging parents (and closer to my folks in Falls Church-they
still live on Kingwood Drive and still talk about our building Homecoming floats in the
backyard there), now we are long distance owners trusting that our capable manager keeps
up the good work! Still not sure what life in Fayetteville holds for us but we are open to
any and all possibilities. Have enjoyed the pictures posted and reading the bio's - I am
liking this "virtual" reunion.
Thanks, Gail
