Kathie Roberts Perez

I am 52 and live in Beaufort, SC (just outside of Hilton Head, SC). I am a Registered Nurse and have been since I graduated from Marymount College of VA in 1976. I have worked many areas of nursing, many years as a Pediatric Nurse, but currently decided to take a different turn and am now working with the geriatric population. I am the “Wellness Director” of a skilled nursing facility and I work part time also as a Hospice Nurse. I also have been very active in music and write, sing and play piano, and was active in a “Praise Team” at church for three years.
Recently, I am divorced and have five children and one 4-year-old granddaughter, named Nevaeh, which is “heaven” backwards. My children range from 15 - 30 years old (3 girls and 2 boys).

Hi Joni, sorry I missed the reunion. I’m currently beginning my 25th year of teaching mathematics at W.T.Woodson High School. Before that I taught for four years in Loudoun County. I am still coaching cross country/track and field at Woodson but plan to retire from coaching at the end of this school year. I am married and have two children. My wife, Karen, is a kindergarten teacher in Fairfax County. My daughter, Jennifer, is junior at Gettysburg College and my son , Michael , is a senior at Woodson. (Click here to see family)

I married Gary Allen, and have two children: Gary (29) and Chris (27); I divorced and remarried Dale Eaton, have two stepchildren: Meredith (24 and a FCPS teacher) and Katie (22), five grandchildren currently (all boys). Have worn many hats since graduation . . . B.S. in chemistry (literally . . .just kidding) from Radford and then sampled various professions (trying to see what I wanted to be when I grew up). . .Cancer Research, drug analysis for Virginina Bureau of Forensic Science, sold real estate, was the Director of Client Relations for a nationwide real estate syndication company (that was associated with the Maryland Savings & Loan crisis in the late 80's), became a State Farm agent (short lived), became a HS chemistry teacher, obtained my Master's in Educational Leadership from George Mason and became an Assistant Principal and am currently a Middle School Principal in FCPS (Sandburg Middle School). AND that's my story in a few sentences. . .currently live in Lorton, Virginia and have for 28 years.
